What is a star?
Stars are hot bodies of gas, mostly made up of hydrogen and helium. Stars are held together by their own gravitational pull and vary in size, mass and temperature and therefore each star has their own unique qualities. This is demonstrated in the images and video below as well as the next few pages of this website.
